My Personal Style: Bachin' With Some Retro August 27 2015, 5 Comments
Love to wear some retro inspired outfits for the sea side strolls. An urban Beach Blanket Bingo (which is an American International Pictures beach party film, released in 1965, directed by William Asher) was my inspiration this time so a high-waisted, 60’s-inspired silhouette was a must, created by these cool jeans shorts. I paired them with colourful bikini bralet, lots of jewellery and aviators. And the key essentials to complement the look were of course The Lie by JPZ turban and this super cute clutch from patent python effect leather.

This time I am posting the series of pictures, taken in gorgeous Red Rock Valley - in my beloved city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Gorgeous red mountains were just calling for some retro inspired whites and blues... And baby blue Mustang was an absolute must. You see, adding a nice white midi to your wardrobe will be a truly good investment -proving versatile beyond all expectations. Seriously, it is extremely difficult to find something it doesn't quite work with. White midi looks good with pretty much everything, from crop top to simple stripped tees, denim jackets, shirts and white button downs. Fringe is far and away one of the biggest hits for spring and summer 2015. The fashion houses are exploding with tassels and fringes and here at The Lie by JPZ is no different. In our SS 15 you’ll find them on skirts to handbags and jewellery – especially necklaces and earrings, but first, here’s my personal fringe style. Anything goes with this easy and never static trend, although it might seem like a trickier trend to pull off, it works really well on coats, jackets and skirts, as well as on accessories.

On this sunny Monday, when spring is in the air, it's all about pastels. For a soft, yet bold look, I love to pair a few different pastel colours together, but if you prefer to stay on the safe side, then choose one color and stick with it throughout your outfit. My Personal Style: From Russia With Love January 06 2015, 8 Comments
Yes, there is something with me and Russia. I draw inspiration from Russia almost every year in my FALL/WINTER collections as well as in my personal style. I fell in love with Russia already long time ago, when I was still a professional ballet dancer. And, the item, that I love the most, is definitely iconic lara's hat (as you may already noticed, right?). I often get confused for a Russian girl. Especially in the winter time, probably because of lara's hat and other fur products that I love to use in my outfits. I will never forget a guy on the Covent Garden market in London, which screamed behind me "beautiful Masha from Russia", and I guess I love to be a Russian girl from time to time, even if just for a while, until I make it clear I come from a beautiful small country in central Europe, called Slovenia.
My favorite period of the year is definitely winter, when I can play around and experiment with layering (which I absolutely love), interesting coats, gloves, fur collars, hand muffs, fur hats, beanies, normal hats, scarfs and boots. A whole new world of options opens up in the winter time, giving plenty of space for creativity. It is all about the outerwear you pick which then becomes your statement of the season. This winter I have a huge crush on long coats and over the knee boots, so here are two outfits with the same coat and different accessories, both inspired by the beautiful Russia... Which one do you like best?
