Bag Guide: When In Las Vegas October 11 2018, 0 Comments

Hello, The Lie by JPZ People!

At the moment, I am checking in grom fabulous Las Vegas and as many of you may already know, I hold this city very dear to my heart. I work hard, I am an absolute workaholic, so I do need to travel - simply to recharge, find new inspirations and, well, just to feed my soul. When abroad on holiodays, I really like to take time for myself, I take time to do my hair, make up and getting dressed an I extremely enjoy in it.
Ok, I am a heavy packer, that's the truth, but unfortunately, traveling by plane does add a certain limitations to this habbit. Howevere, I love options, and I am an accessories freak, so I always prefer to go smaller on clothes (that I can mix and match with each other, creating neew looks) and go BIIIIg on accessories - especially - BAGS!
So, today, I am guiding you through the three The Lie by JPZ bag options, that you'll be able to incorporate to your outfits almost 24/7, no matter the look or the occasion. The pictures you are seeing are actually all from Las Vegas, so these bags actually did travel with me to the Sin City. You'll see that they are versatile, easy to style but also statement pieces and eye-catchers - yes, we surely do like those, right?
But what I will also talk about today, is the proper care for your bags, when on the go.

When it comes to packing, you have to pay a special attention to your most prized possessions – handbags. Bags usually tend to be investment pieces along with your shoes, so you want to ensure they are properly tended to, especially in your suitcase when airport employees do not take a special care for your luggage and are throwing it around like a bag of sand (yes, my heart always breaks when I see this and I get so extremely angry I could punch someone, lol). So, I wanted to share the things I do to care for my handbags when on the go, to ensure they last forever. Hopefully, you’ll pick up some good tips on how to care for your handbags too!

Keep the Dust Bags

When bringing home a new handbag, never, seriously, Never toss the dust bag away! This is the key to protecting your bag and ensuring it stays in good condition and dust-free as home, as well as protected from al the possible accidents that may happen inside your suitcase (once the bottle of my perfume broke and you do not want to know the damage it cost to most of the items I had in the suitcase). If you do not happen to have a dust bag, repurpose a clean pillowcase - preferably white, which does the trick too. Also, once safely wrapped in the fabric, I would suggest you to pack them also in a plastic bag (because of the broken perfume reasons mentioned above).

Protect the Inside

When it comes down to face and body, the unside is as important as th outside - and it's the same with your handbags! Don’t neglect the interior of your handbag! Always use cosmetic or plastic bags and pouches for anything that could pose as a threat to your handbag - perfume, make up, bottle of water. If anything happened to spill, doing so contains the mess and makes it easier to clean. And, if you ever want to resell later, this will help your bag maintain its value.

Stuff the Inside

When it comes to packing your handbags, stuffing the inside of the bag is crucial, especially if you want your bags to hold their structure! On the go, stuff the inside of your bags with clothes, swimming suits and underwear. This way, it is less likely to be damaged, compressed, or lose its shape in the suitcase.

Store in a Safe Place

When in a hotel room, store the bags in a safe place, far away from winows or balconies and of any sunlight! The sun can make a horrible damage to every colored leather!

Turn to a professional

And, in case on your trip worst comes to worst, you have to seek a professional. A good shoe cobbler will usually be able to help you out with wear and tear, or installing other hardware you need. Do not attempt to fix it yourself otherwise you risk a permanent damage!

What about you, ladies, what are some of the ways you take care for your handbags while on the go?

XOXOXOX JPZ

My Personal Style: Desert Statements May 20 2016, 3 Comments

Desert statements in the Red Rock Valley...
I guess words can not describe how much I love the photogenic nature of Nevada state. It
is located in a mountainous region that includes vast semiarid grasslands and sandy alkali deserts and it is one of the most beautiful places to take amazing pictures - light, colours, sky - everything is just perfect.  Last time while in Las Vegas, we've been exploring the Red Rock Valley, and the scenery was just right for a chic black & white outfit with our playful clutch and statement fur trimmed jacket from FW 2014 From Russia With Love Collection.

My Personal Style: #fbf To NYE Outfit Or Fur Stole Trick From The 1950's January 08 2016, 6 Comments

It’s not a big secret, that I love fashion icons from the 1950’s. And it's no secret, how much I love contrasts in style. Having said that, my NYE outfit choice was definitely inspired by stated above.
Lately, at every corner you turn, someone is wrapped up in one. In every city across the globe, magazines state that you need one. And bloggers, fashionistas or models all own one!
Here at The Lie by JPZ we love fur stoles and we used it wrapped around beautiful red wool dress and fixed to it with a statement belt already in our FW 2013/2014 collection When In Budapest With Tristan Karol. make sure you elevate your look during the chilly months with one of these bad boys.
I styled our elegant sequinned The Lie by JPZ jumpsuit (cause you just have to sparkle on a NYE) with an edgy, long black jacket with leather-effect sleeves for an urban twist, while chunky belt and statement bag added a sophisticated rock-chic effect to the entire look (which I love since I was a little girl and my father took me to many rock concerts).
And now comes the Marilyn Monroe, or rather, because of a modern downtown edge, Marlene Dietrich moment! - by adding our stunning The Lie by JPZ white fur stole which totally elevated the look to a whole different level!

My Personal Style: Glamorous In Red With A Touch Of Silver December 31 2015, 3 Comments

What are holidays for? Ever since I’m a little girl, holidays always meant for me hosting friends and family, eating good food (a looot of sweets), decorating apartment and dressing up in festive and glamorous outfits. Today is no different... I still love and do all that, except that when it comes down to dressing up, well, I do it in an even more glamorous way. To be honest, Christmas dinners and NYEs, when celebrated indoor, are the perfect occasion for every woman to wear long evening gown with some sparkling jewellery. It's the time, when no one can be overdressed, it's the time, when you can really go for a Hollywood glamour, have no bad feeling about it and - really enjoy it! I certainly always do.

Throughout the years as a designer, I came to realize that every woman, no matter the body figure, age or personal style, knows how to wear an evening gown. Yes ladies, we have this in our DNA! And if you haven't tried it yet, do it, because it feels absolutely amazing.

One of my favourites for NYE is definitely long red gown (for a lot of luck in the coming year) and silver accessories for an extremely glamorous touch!

Have a great NYE celebration, my dear fashionistas, XOXOXO JPZ

My Personal Style: White Bride In Valley Of Fire October 17 2015, 9 Comments

Valley of Fire is located near Las Vegas in state of Nevada and it derives its name from red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs, 150 million years ago. Complex uplifting and faulting of the region, followed by extensive erosion, have created the beautiful, super photogenic landscape. And so it was a must to make some beautiful editorial pictures there. Blue sky and red rocks were just calling for a white contrast, such as this chic ensemble of stone embellished jacket and long mermaid skirt.
Looking for a winter wedding dress? This look is absolutely perfect, since the jacket has long sleeves, not to mention the fact that you will look absolutely stunning and innovative, going for a long evening skirt, matched with peplum jacket. And the embellished shoulders – aren’t they just sooooo adorable?

My Personal Style: Las Vegas Glitter October 05 2015, 3 Comments

In Las Vegas, city of lights, glitter is always a good idea, right? I love glitter pieces when styled in contrasts, cause that's what gives that chic vibe to it and prevent you from looking like a walking disco ball... So, for the first night out in Vegas, I went for a head to toe The Lie by JPZ look and paired glitter pencil skirt with a statement black blazer, that gave some rough rock touch to the whole ensemble. For a truly dazzling appearance I added some strong silver accessories. You know, in the middle of all those lights, you want to pop out from the crowd...

My Personal Style: Scrolling Down The Red Rock Valley In Whites and Blues July 09 2015, 5 Comments

This time I am posting the series of pictures, taken in gorgeous Red Rock Valley - in my beloved city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Gorgeous red mountains were just calling for some retro inspired whites and blues... And baby blue Mustang was an absolute must. You see, adding a nice white midi to your wardrobe will be a truly good investment -proving versatile beyond all expectations. Seriously, it is extremely difficult to find something it doesn't quite work with. White midi looks good with pretty much everything, from crop top to simple stripped tees, denim jackets, shirts and white button downs. It is a perfect little summer skirt to wear day or night and to dress up or down! And, naturally, we just love those statement pieces that work with just about everything in your closet, right?
