Season's Must: Lara's Hat November 11 2015, 3 Comments

Whether you live in a big city or a small snowy town, chances are that temperatures are very low at this time of year, making us rely on super warm coats, scarves, boots and - here come's the best part - hats! Yes, here at The Lie by JPZ we absolutely love chill weather, because this is when you get the chance to wear all kinds of hats.
There are many different style hats that will keep your head warm throughout the winter months, but nothing does the trick like a gorgeous fur hat, known also as Lara's hat from the iconic Dr. Zhivago movie. These beauties will keep you as warm as can be despite the cold temperatures and strong wind. And what is best is that they’re incredibly easy to match with any outfit, since they add just the right amount of drama to it and also a tremendously chic statement.
What's your favourite The Lie by JPZ Lara's hat for the season? White, brown, red, green or black?

XOXOXO JPZ

My Personal Style: Camel & Red March 31 2015, 4 Comments

Today, I am sharing with you a look I wore on a chilly spring day. The temperatures were low, even though we are already at the end of March, so I felt like a splash of pastel would be perfect and this fur trimmed jacket from our FALL WINTER 2014/2015 collection is just everything. So classy, chic and stylish. I paired it with bright red turtleneck, skirt, tassel necklace and brand new red The Lie by JPZ bag from SS 2015 collection... From head to toe, well, knee, to be exact, in The Lie by JPZ is always a good idea, don't you think?

XOXOXO JPZ

Beautiful Bride With The Lie by JPZ February 22 2015, 3 Comments

If you are not a classic bride and you are having a hard time finding your perfect, elegant, chic, yet elegant and modern wedding dress, then look to our beautiful white gowns from FALL WINTER 2014/2015 collection. We represent to you four different and unique styles, appropriate for all of  you, who are getting married in the nearby future, when the weather is still a bit cold. Here at The Lie by JPZ we love the trumpet silhouette. It shows off a woman's curves while the voluminous skirt moves beautifully as you walks down the aisle and dance the night away. Be unique and add some winter accessories - lara's hat instead of tiara or veil, fur collar or short jacket instead of classic bolero and leather gloves instead of the silk ones and do not be afraid to use even statement belt and clutch. This way, using non traditional accessories, you will create unique and chic wedding style and you will not be worried about how cold the weather is gonna be. The colder, the better - you are gonna look like a snow queen from Russian winter fairytale.

For your perfect wedding look, do not hesitate to contact us at jpz@jpz.si, and together, we will create unique style you absolutely deserve.

My Personal Style: From Russia With Love January 06 2015, 8 Comments

Yes, there is something with me and Russia. I draw inspiration from Russia almost every year in my FALL/WINTER collections as well as in my personal style. I fell in love with Russia already long time ago, when I was still a professional ballet dancer. And, the item, that I love the most, is definitely iconic lara's hat (as you may already noticed, right?). I often get confused for a Russian girl. Especially in the winter time, probably because of lara's hat and other fur products that I love to use in my outfits. I will never forget a guy on the Covent Garden market in London, which screamed behind me "beautiful Masha from Russia", and I guess I love to be a Russian girl from time to time, even if just for a while, until I make it clear I come from a beautiful small country in central Europe, called Slovenia.
My favorite period of the year is definitely winter, when I can play around and experiment with layering (which I absolutely love), interesting coats, gloves, fur collars, hand muffs, fur hats, beanies, normal hats, scarfs and boots. A whole new world of options opens up in the winter time, giving plenty of space for creativity. It is all about the outerwear you pick which then becomes your statement of the season. This winter I have a huge crush on long coats and over the knee boots, so here are two outfits with the same coat and different accessories, both inspired by the beautiful Russia... Which one do you like best?
