My Personal Style: Lady In Red For A Sunday Lunch February 21 2016, 4 Comments

Sometimes, I love to create drama on the street with my looks and I enjoy when people stare! Today, I am in just the right mood to put on some bold monochromatic look with a pop of print and have an extremely chic Sunday lunch with my love and friends.
Monochromatic dressing is a sleek and sophisticated way to get a polished look. This type of dressing is super easy, simply pick one color or mix several complimentary shades of one color together, which is what I’m doing today. Soft neutrals always look very chic, but bright, bold colors, such as red, bring the entire look to another level.  Dressing in one color is also a great way to highlight a particular piece, such as our beautiful leopard cross body bag, which now really pops out among other statement pieces - luxurious red fur collar and gorgeous hat. Agree?

My Personal Style: London Textures February 14 2016, 5 Comments

Black textures with a sprinkle of white were the best warm yet chic choice for a super cold and extremely windy London. I love to stay warm and with the right layering you can look chic even in a very cold weather. The trick is in a few statement pieces and different material textures.
Since I was three years old, I've been to London every year ever since. I like London - toast bread with butter (which tastes soooo incredibly good only there), red busses and telephone boxes (oh, so photogenic), unpredictable weather, beautiful cemetery on Earl's Court with cutest little squirrels, Covent Garden market and amazing musicals.
This year was extremely windy, so layered look was a must. When layering in one colour, try to play with different textures - that's what makes look unique and interesting. As you can see, I went for wool (coat), fur (vest), faux leather with interesting stitching (pants), suede leather (boots) and patent leather (bag). Yes, many different materials, which work together so nicely, and I spiced up the entire black look with a white tee peeking under a black turtleneck, white Lara's hat and a statement fringed bag in black and white combination.

XOXOXO JPZ

P.S.
Paula, thank you for the sexiest taxi ride ever!

Season's Must: Lara's Hat November 11 2015, 3 Comments

Whether you live in a big city or a small snowy town, chances are that temperatures are very low at this time of year, making us rely on super warm coats, scarves, boots and - here come's the best part - hats! Yes, here at The Lie by JPZ we absolutely love chill weather, because this is when you get the chance to wear all kinds of hats.
There are many different style hats that will keep your head warm throughout the winter months, but nothing does the trick like a gorgeous fur hat, known also as Lara's hat from the iconic Dr. Zhivago movie. These beauties will keep you as warm as can be despite the cold temperatures and strong wind. And what is best is that they’re incredibly easy to match with any outfit, since they add just the right amount of drama to it and also a tremendously chic statement.
What's your favourite The Lie by JPZ Lara's hat for the season? White, brown, red, green or black?

XOXOXO JPZ

My Personal Style: Scrolling Down The Red Rock Valley In Whites and Blues July 09 2015, 5 Comments

This time I am posting the series of pictures, taken in gorgeous Red Rock Valley - in my beloved city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Gorgeous red mountains were just calling for some retro inspired whites and blues... And baby blue Mustang was an absolute must. You see, adding a nice white midi to your wardrobe will be a truly good investment -proving versatile beyond all expectations. Seriously, it is extremely difficult to find something it doesn't quite work with. White midi looks good with pretty much everything, from crop top to simple stripped tees, denim jackets, shirts and white button downs. It is a perfect little summer skirt to wear day or night and to dress up or down! And, naturally, we just love those statement pieces that work with just about everything in your closet, right?

My Personal Style: Saturday 70's April 11 2015, 4 Comments

Experimenting with different styles is so much fun and drawing inspiration from different eras is even better. Retro hippie fashion, when done well, has always been my thing, so from time to time, I love to rock the retro looks in flares, big hats, fringes, enormous bags, gypsy tops... As you may have already heard, seventies is fashion's new favourite decade - an era that throws numerous tricky looks back under the microscope. And this how I do it with our The Lie by JPZ hat, fur vest, tassel necklace and leopard tote...
