My Personal Style: Russian Fairy Tale January 18 2019, 0 Comments

Somebody said SNOW?? Love love love creating snow looks! Today we woke up in a beautiful white morning, after more than a month of waiting, we finally have snow again in our country! So, this Friday was a true Funday! 
When snow falls and whitens the nature and the cities, I just fall in some sort of romantic mode and so the consequence are romantic, fairy tale-like outfits with a slight retro touch. It's no secret how much I love Russia and I draw a lot of inspiration from Russian history, culture and literature, so I just loved putting on again The Lie by JPZ iconic Lara's hat which are present in our winter collections from day 1. I paired it with our powder pink fur poncho and for that extra touch I added hand muff.

Are you also one of those, who just loves heading to the slopes in March or April? When the weather is already warm and sunny? And, let's be honest, hitting the ski is only half of it. Favourite The Lie by JPZ Christmas Covers & Spreads January 17 2015, 14 Comments

Before I established and launched my brand, I worked as a stylist for many Slovenian magazines, such as Playboy, Story, Bella Donna, Obrazi, Eva and many others. And the working period I loved the most, was always December, since all the covers, editorials and interview spreads have this festive thematic, which I absolutely adore, since Christmas is also my favourite holiday. Now, since I work as a designer, my styling is mostly desired by those celebrities, who love and wear The Lie by JPZ products, so they often want me to style them in my design for certain photoshootings. And this past December was no different. So here are my favourite December 2014 covers and interview spreads in my styling and design. Gorgeous singer Rebeka Dremelj in The Lie by JPZ white lara’s hat, fur collar, dress, earrings and belt ( 1st outfit ), red evening gown and earrings ( 2nd outfit) & black lara’s hat, povder pink skirt, hand muff, fur pom pom belt and earrings (3rd outfit). And former Miss Earth Slovenia 2011 and now actress in Mexico, lovely Rebecca Kim Lekše in The Lie by JPZ red evening gown, earrings and red lara’s hat ( 1st outfit) & pink turban, one sleeve dress and earrings. Rock This Winter With Iconic Hand Muffs November 11 2014, 8 Comments

When creating a new collection and precise vision of The Lie by JPZ woman for the season, I love taking inspiration from the past to create the present, and the future. This time was no different. I draw inspiration from the 1950’s and 1960’s, and beside other characteristics, lines and accessories in the collection, that reflect the era, very important part of The Lie by JPZ FW 14/15 collection are also hand muffs. So yes, hand muff should be on top of every girl’s winter wish list.
You might think hand muffs faded out in the early 1900’s, and they probably did, but they are definitely back here at The Lie by JPZ in all of their glory and we absolutely love them! Incorporate them as essential piece of your winter wardrobe and play with them, creating classic and romantic retro inspired outfits. Embrace them, like some fashion a-listers already did and team your hand muff in favourite colour in with a sleek a-line coat, favourite over the knee boots and lara’s hat. And metropolitan winter fashionista is born!
