My Personal Style: From Russia With Love January 06 2015, 8 Comments

Yes, there is something with me and Russia. I draw inspiration from Russia almost every year in my FALL/WINTER collections as well as in my personal style. I fell in love with Russia already long time ago, when I was still a professional ballet dancer. And, the item, that I love the most, is definitely iconic lara's hat (as you may already noticed, right?). I often get confused for a Russian girl. Especially in the winter time, probably because of lara's hat and other fur products that I love to use in my outfits. I will never forget a guy on the Covent Garden market in London, which screamed behind me "beautiful Masha from Russia", and I guess I love to be a Russian girl from time to time, even if just for a while, until I make it clear I come from a beautiful small country in central Europe, called Slovenia.
My favorite period of the year is definitely winter, when I can play around and experiment with layering (which I absolutely love), interesting coats, gloves, fur collars, hand muffs, fur hats, beanies, normal hats, scarfs and boots. A whole new world of options opens up in the winter time, giving plenty of space for creativity. It is all about the outerwear you pick which then becomes your statement of the season. This winter I have a huge crush on long coats and over the knee boots, so here are two outfits with the same coat and different accessories, both inspired by the beautiful Russia... Yes, most glamorous day of the year is coming tomorrow and let it be full of sparkle! Not just your evening outfit, go shiny also during the day and bring some glamour also to your office. In the evening, go for all-glam sparkly outfit, but during the day, play it chic&cool with a subtle dash of shine. My pick is our gorgeous The Lie by JPZ golden sequinned skirt, paired with black turtleneck, poncho, boots, cat eye sunnies and bag. Add some golden statement jewellery and there it is - the perfect business glittery outfit for the last working day in 2014!

My Personal Style: Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow December 28 2014, 9 Comments

Snow just makes everything so magical and even though Christmas wasn't white, yesterday I finally woke up to this gorgeous winter fairytale. Snowy nights are my absolute favs, perfect for chic winter outfits, inspired by gorgeous character of Lara from iconic Doctor Zhivago movie. So, Lara's hat is of course an absolute must and there is another iconic accessory, that I absolutely adore this winter - hand muff. So, on a yesterday's snowy walk in the city, I went for black over the knee boots, skirt, turtleneck and skirt, paired with coat and hand muff in pastel pink hue and white fur hat. And, of course, the most exiting piece was our The Lie by JPZ white leopard bag, which elevated and added that powerful twist to the entire look.

My Personal Style: Black & White Winter City Stroll December 26 2014, 9 Comments

There is definitely something with black&white outfits, since they always work perfectly in transition from day to night, which comes in very handy in a modern, quick way of life. I love to wear white in the wintertime, especially, because most of people wear it during the summer. And since I am a really freezing person, The lie by JPZ long black fur vest is always a cool choice to keep me warm, yet extremely chic. Although I am most of the time kind of a gold person, there are also many silver accessories, that I love to wear, like our The Lie by JPZ statement studded belt, our Basic Shopper Croc bag with silver hardware and this gorgeous Escada aviators with, of course, a lot of silver jewellery. Not to mention my latest obsession, this amazing over the knee Loriblu boots.
Yes, this is what I call a chic fashionista's city stroll...
