You know what they say - you never forget your first love. True. Maybe because your first love is the one that sticks with you because it's the only person who receives all of you. After that, you learn better. Bags are my true love, the love of my life and yes, I will never forget my first collection, called Girl's Best Friends from 2011.
Some say that diamonds are a girl's best friend... Are they? Cause there is no better friend than a gorgeous handbag. In it, you carry everything you need, all your essentials, all those lucky charms, everything, you need to get you through the day. Bag is never just a bag. It's my better half, an admirable piece of art. For sure. This Thursday is dedicated to my first love - my first bag collection, which was done with so much passion and excitement... So many sleepless nights, researches, material and hardware hunts... When I turn back, it was all so worth it. And there is no better feeling than seeing a true fashionista with The Lie by JPZ bag in her hand.
I do believe that if fashion is the art and designers are the gods, then handbags are desserts with whipped cream, chocolate crumbs and maraschino cherry on the top!

Fringe is far and away one of the biggest hits for spring and summer 2015. The fashion houses are exploding with tassels and fringes and here at The Lie by JPZ is no different. In our SS 15 you’ll find them on skirts to handbags and jewellery – especially necklaces and earrings, but first, here’s my personal fringe style. Anything goes with this easy and never static trend, although it might seem like a trickier trend to pull off, it works really well on coats, jackets and skirts, as well as on accessories.

Everyone can wear camel. In fact, there is certain rule, that every fashionista should own a coat or a jacket in camel colour. It’s rich looking, a perfect shade for autumn and spring and a very versatile neutral for any working wardrobe.

Finally, spring is here and so are fresh, light and chic outfits! As you may already know, I love fresh approach to the wardrobe, so all white outfits are on my menu even in the winter time. I used this first day of spring, which was also, fortunately, wery warm, for a classic female The Lie by JPZ suit with an interesting cuts and draping and for a touch of edge, I paired it with this beautiful cropped top from Top Shop. Before I established and launched my brand, I worked as a stylist for many Slovenian magazines, such as Playboy, Story, Bella Donna, Obrazi, Eva and many others. And the working period I loved the most, was always December, since all the covers, editorials and interview spreads have this festive thematic, which I absolutely adore, since Christmas is also my favourite holiday. Now, since I work as a designer, my styling is mostly desired by those celebrities, who love and wear The Lie by JPZ products, so they often want me to style them in my design for certain photoshootings. And this past December was no different. So here are my favourite December 2014 covers and interview spreads in my styling and design.
